Lucky charms come in many shapes, colors, and sizes. It may be a gem, a keepsake, even a significant person in your life, or just anything that you believe will help you attract positivity and fortune. Some people strategically embellish their homes and workplaces with these lucky items, while others carry them around to invite the good vibes in wherever they go.

The newly-minted barkada of Kapamilya show “It’s Your Lucky Day” is all about attracting and spreading fortune these days. So, we asked them the kind of good luck charm they’d like to make. Check out their answers in the video!

Comedian Negi is able to make people happy through his punchlines. Therefore, if he could create his own lucky charm, it’d be in the form of a lipstick. But he would make sure not to depend his success merely on it, “Ang swerte, hindi naman pwedeng uupo ka lang tapos seswertehin ka. Siyempre, sasamahan mo pa rin ng sipag at continue na mangarap.”

Francine Diaz pays special attention to her relationship with other people. It’s important that she has a best friend to depend on, which is why she’d like to make a charm necklace with a dog pendant to make her feel guided and that she has a best friend wherever she goes.

It seems like Seth Fedelin is also looking to strengthen special connections. He wouldn’t make a new charm, though, as he already has one – a bracelet that reminds him “there’s someone na makikinig sa kwento ko.” That bracelet gives him good energy.

Jennica Garcia says she has two lucky charms and she doesn’t plan on adding more. “Kung gagawa po ako ng sarili kong lucky charm... Lucky charm ko po kasi ‘yung dalawa kong anak, at wala na po akong balak gumawa ulit,” she laughed.

Long Mejia would go for an item that he could keep at hand, specifically a photograph of Jesus Christ. If Melai Cantiveros would create a good luck symbol, it would represent positivity – “Hindi sa swab test ha,” she quipped – as well as happiness, joy, and calmness.

For Luis Mazano, the best kind of lucky charm isn’t something tangible, rather it’s about having a positive mindset. When you focus on positivity, “kahit anong ibato sa atin ng tadhana, meron at merong kokontra na swerte at matutulog tayo nang nakangiti.”

After all, you will attract fortune and all good things into your life when you believe that you’re lucky from the get go.

Feel luckier by tuning in to “It’s Your Lucky Day,” which airs Mondays to Saturdays, at noon, until October 27 on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, GTV, and A2Z. It is also available on iWantTFC and TFC.

Also on the show are Robi Domingo, Shaina Magdayao, comedians Petite and Divine Tetay, and surprise celebrity guests.
