RK Bagatsing and Jane Oineza have been giving us serious couple goals since they went public with their romance. They’re the perfect example of a relationship where being comfortable and open about your quirks is the norm.
We admire pairs who effortlessly show how to be themselves, keep it real, and let their fun, candid sides shine. RK and Jane are the epitome of this! Their dynamic is all about balancing each other out while embracing those wacky moments that make their love story uniquely theirs.
While they usually keep their social media PDA to a minimum and prefer to keep their relationship on the down-low, when they do open up, they redefine ‘couple goals’ with their unapologetically real vibes. We got a taste of this in a fun episode of Kapamilya Chat where the “Love Child” stars took on the “RK vs Jane” Challenge. In this game, they received a list of relationship qualities or traits and had to identify who exhibited each characteristic more.
First up in the “sino ang mas makwento” debate, RK and Jane ended up raising both their picture boards. The truth is, they both absolutely love chatting with each other. Whether it's discussing something random or diving into a deep conversation on countless topics, their talks seem never-ending because they genuinely enjoy the exchange. Jane shared, “’Pag meron kaming mga opinion, open kami to voice it out kasi open ‘yung mga conversation lagi.” RK added, “Kaya rin tumatagal kasi free-flowing ‘yung conversations namin—everything under the sun.”
When it comes to being money-wise, Jane is definitely RK’s financial idol. She’s upfront about her strict budgeting habits, even if it means putting off or skipping a purchase she really wants. RK admires Jane’s top-notch financial discipline, saying, “Compliment ‘yun kasi pinaghahandaan niya kung meron siyang gusto bilhin.” He admits he’s a bit more impulsive with his spending, but they do have one splurging area they both happily agree on—food! Savoring delicious meals together is one of their favorite ways to bond.
Their budgeting habits definitely come into play with the next question about who’s more into giving gifts. Both of them raised RK’s photo for this one. RK admits he goes all out and extravagant with his gifts on special occasions. Meanwhile, Jane loves surprising him with little treats on random days—like those sweet souvenirs from her travels, whether she’s out of town or out of the country.
And part of their beautiful balance as a couple is knowing when to say sorry and who should take the lead in fixing their misunderstanding. In their relationship, there’s no specific rule that one person always has to make amends. They’re mature enough to recognize who’s at fault and let that person initiate the apology. From there, they talk things through and work it out together.
Show RKane some love by supporting their Cinemalaya movie, “Love Child,” now showing in cinemas. The film explores how a young couple raises their son with autism, and it has resonated deeply with moviegoers, particularly parents of children on the autism spectrum. They feel grateful for the opportunity to have their stories shared through RK and Jane’s characters, finding a powerful voice and platform in the film.
