Will the perfectly matched couple nail this matching game?
Since they went public with their relationship in 2021, RK Bagatsing and Jane Oineza have become one of our favorite couple goals. Watching them grow together only proves they’re a perfect match. But will they also ace the fruit-matching game in Kapamilya Chat’s “Match It” Challenge? Here, the duo has to match the arrangement of one set of fruits with their counterparts hidden in a mystery box. With three rounds ahead, including a trial round, they need to collaborate closely to succeed.
When the first round began, RK assumed the Kapamilya Chat host hadn’t really moved the original fruit positions to confuse them. However, Jane took a different approach and shuffled the fruits significantly, creating more confusion. RK decided to let Jane handle this round, but unfortunately, she didn’t get it right. This led to a consequence, where they had to answer some random queries.
The first question was whether they’d prefer ordering food online or dining out. Jane would rather have her food delivered, as she’s all for that chill homebody vibe. And then RK showed off his smooth side when asked about the most beautiful place he’s ever visited. Without missing a beat, he replied, “Sa tabi niya.” Boom.
The couple took a teamwork approach in the next round, even asking for a bit of help from those in the room by looking for reactions. However, the audience chose to stay silent when Jane and RK finally got the positions right, leading them to second-guess and rearrange the fruits, which turned out to be a mistake. “Parang wala na akong ginawang tama sa buhay,” quipped RK. This led to the consequence questions, where Jane shared what she values most in a friendship, and RK revealed who he considers a positive influence in his life.
The sweethearts joked about their ‘trust issues’ in the final round, doubting whether they could get the arrangement right. Spoiler alert: they didn’t. So it was time for more questions! The fun turned serious when Jane was asked about the worst decisions she’s made. She imparted that there are no wrong decisions in life, just lessons that shape who we are today.
Meanwhile, RK was asked about his proudest moment, which led him to their film “Love Child.” Both are incredibly proud of the project, not only because they’re part of it but also because it provides a platform that resonates deeply with parents of children on the autism spectrum.
Show RKane some love by supporting their Cinemalaya movie, “Love Child,” now showing in cinemas.
