Discover interesting facts about the former “Mini Me 2” grand champion, who is now all grown up.

Showbiz enthusiasts would remember Xia Vigor for her adorable little antics and performances on “It’s Showtime” where she joined the “Mini Me 2” segment and was hailed the grand winner, taking home a cash prize and house and lot. Xia remembers how she got in the segment, saying she and her mom were just passing by when they saw a line for an audition. Taking a shot, they queued for four hours.

Since “It’s Showtime” was her entryway into showbiz, the program’s hosts became her first showbiz friends as well. She was closest to Anne Curtis. “She’s a loving person and mahilig talaga siya sa mga bata. Lagi akong pumupunta sa dressing room niya at mabait talaga si Ate Anne,” she said of the superstar.

At present, Xia is turning 15 and she’s making her comeback via comedy film “Itutumba Ka Ng Tatay Ko” with Janno Gibbs. So, it’s the perfect time to catch up with the pretty young star!

Xiamara Sophia Bernardo Vigor, or Xia, Xi, and Xixi to her family and friends, was born on June 23, 2009. Taking it from astrology, Xia, a Cancer, loves building harmonious relationships with people around her. She is affectionate and a nurturer – a true empath.

This aligns with her ambition to be involved in charity work, inspired by the life that her role model, Gina Lopez, lived. Xia will never get tired of watching Gina’s lifestyle and environmental show “G Diaries.” Even now that the philanthropist is gone, Xia continues to learn and be inspired by her legacy.

Asked her dream on-screen role, she smiled, thinking about the big preparations it would take to play a psychopath. But she thinks it'd be exciting and a true test of her skill.

She describes herself as a “thinker” since she’s into exploring new things and planning. The former Your Face Sounds Familiar participant says coming to Selena Gomez’s concert when she was only 5 years old was her first-ever fangirl moment – in case you forgot, she was mini Selena Gomez in “Mini Me 2.”

Xia, whose favorite color is pastel purple, loves The Weeknd so much. She likes to listen a lot to his songs Save Your Tears, Call Out My Name, and Die For You.

If you wish to prepare her food, you can never go wrong with smoked salmon with poached egg, cream cheese, and zucchini. Our girl has a sophisticated palate!

When it's vacation time, you’ll likely find her at the beach. Her hobbies are playing football, learning languages, cooking, learning instruments, and journaling. Apart from the talents that we know her for, Xia will impress with speaking different languages. She once painted their house in Mindoro, and this she considers a special talent, too.

At 14, Xia defines love as family. “Ang family ang nagpapabuo sa’yo. Sila ‘yung nagbibigay ng strength sa’yo,” she imparted, emphasizing that love can come in many forms.
