Make your day a little breezier with Angela Ken and LA Santos’ soothing voices! In an episode of Kapamilya Chat, the Love Bites: “Boy Next Door” stars took on the Song Association Challenge, in which the first player must come up with a song that mentions the given keyword, then the second player would think of another song picking up from the word where his/her opponent left off.

The first word was “ikaw.” Angela belted out the Yeng Constantino hit with the same title. She closed the first round with “buhay,” which reminded LA of the OPM track “Buko” which has the phrase “buhay ko” in the chorus.

Nobody wanted to lose the game, but mental block was inevitable given the time pressure. What we love about this challenge is that the guest artists highlighted beautiful OPM hits. We heard them sing a sample of “Akin Ka Na Lang,” Mahiwaga,” and “Salamat” – all of which sounded incredibly romantic.

In the tie-breaker round, LA serenaded viewers with “Sana Ngayong Pasko” when given the word “sana” and ended it with “pag-ibig.” From there, Angela sang “Lintik Na Pag-Ibig” and capped it off with “puso,” bringing “Pusong Ligaw” to LA’s mind. The exchange was exciting and entertaining until LA accepted defeat when Angela threw him the word “ito” after singing “Ikaw Na Nga.”
