For the umpteenth time, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo actress Ivana Alawi once again made one of her loved ones cry as she pulled another naughty prank that eventually turned into a fantastic surprise. And the quite unsuspecting victim this time? Their eldest sibling Amira, who just celebrated her birthday recently!

Since she didn’t want to spoil nor hurt her ate on her special day, Ivana decided to postpone it after a few days. She implied that she would give her a residential lot, which is her way of expressing her appreciation to her as she diligently juggles her job in their skincare business with her duties as a single mom to her unico hijo Gab.

But being the playful sister that she is, Ivana thought of playing the “ignoring prank” on Amira first before giving her her surprise gift. Thus, she sought the help of their beloved Mama Alawi and their other siblings Hash and Mona in order for it to be a success.

They executed the plan at a popular theme park in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, where the entire Alawi fam got to bond for one magical day. It was quite a difficult task to ignore Amira as they took pictures and rode various attractions together, as she kept on talking to and interacting with them and they had to pretend that they didn’t see nor hear her.

As they took a break from enjoying the rides and playing a trick on Amira, Ivana displayed her kakulitan as she had a cute and kilig moment with a handsome young foreign man while they were buying snacks. She jested on treating him with a hotdog sandwich and, afterwards, gleefully accepted his request to have a photo with her.

Ivana, Mama Alawi, Hash, and Mona finally revealed to Amira that they were just pranking her all the time that they’d been ignoring her. She assumed that they were only doing a fun challenge of who could not speak for the longest time, as well as they were not just in the mood to talk since it was scorching hot and were surrounded by throngs of people when they were at the theme park.

The following day, she brought the entire fam to the lot that she told Amira she would acquire for the warehouse of their company and other businesses, but in fact was her birthday present for her. According to Ivana, it’s the first land that she has ever bought with her own money that she earned when she was only 17 years old. The land may have sentimental value to her, yet she doesn’t mind giving it away since Amira is one of the special and important people in her life.

As she agreed that it’s perfect for the warehouse they’re planning to build and already taken a family photo with it, Amira was so shocked and wasn’t able to contain her emotions when Ivana handed her the land title and told her that it’s already hers. An emotional moment ensued among the family as Amira and Mama Alawi expressed their gratitude and appreciation for their beloved Mariam (Ivana’s real name).

“Ever since no’ng bata ako, ‘yong pangarap ko talaga bago ako makapangasawa, makapag-family, is ma-secure ko lahat ng famiy ko. ‘Yong may mabigay ako na para sa future nila,” Ivana related.
