Just like her character Bubbles in the primetime series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, Ivana Alawi may also appear tough in real life, but she’s actually soft-hearted especially when it comes to people who matter to her. And were able to see that anew in the latest vlog that she uploaded on her YouTube, wherein she surprised her beloved mom with whopping presents on her birthday.

Since it was Mama Alawi’s special day, she let her decide how she wanted to celebrate. They ended up spending it at a beach resort in Batangas, as she requested for them to just go somewhere with a body of water wherein they could relax and unwind together, as well as enjoy the beautiful view and the water at the same time.

As spending quality time with her family is already enough for her, she told them to not give her any gifts anymore, or else she wouldn’t speak to them. Aside from having a table spread with sumptuous food and delectable cakes, the Alawi siblings made sure to make her day extra special by putting on identical pink button-downs for their simple photoshoot by the beach.

While eating, Ivana asked her siblings one-by-one regarding the best thing about their mom. For Mona, she feels truly blessed with the way she cares for and loves them, while their Ate Amira said that it would be her sense of humor. Meanwhile, for Ivana, it’s also the way she raised and took good care of them. Their brother Hash echoed it by commending the constant affection their mom has for them even though they’re already adults.

Heeding their Mama’s most important request of not giving her any presents, Ivana thought of a creative way to give her something, which is by playing a game called “Find the Piso.” With the help of her siblings, they planted five 1-peso coins in the sand, which is equivalent to P100,000 each. She was able to retrieve all five coins and eventually received a whopping P500,000 in cold cash.

The Alawi fam then proceeded to another venue, wherein they did various water activities, such as riding a yacht, swimming, jumping off a cliff, and letting themselves be pulled by a jet ski. Mama Alawi, Hash, and Amira were the ones who tried those first, with Ivana and Mona following suit.

Ivana capped off the vlog by disclosing to the viewers that they bought a lot near their favorite vacation place in Tanauan, Batangas, and showed the exact location where they are going to build their dream vacation house, which they assume will be completed in three years.
