Keempee de Leon’s longevity in showbiz may just be the product of better habits and being disciplined enough to stick with his self-imposed rules. He revealed these rules in this episode of Kapamilya Chat.

Taking on the “My Rules” Challenge, the “Mahal Kita, Beksman” actor divulged that his greatest rule on friendship is that trust should never be broken. His long-enduring showbiz career is proof of his friendly nature. When he gets comfortable with the person, he tends to be very vocal even about his secrets, and therefore, it would be disappointing if they break his trust. Once betrayed, he will remain civil and forgive the person but he doesn't forget.

When it comes to shopping, creating a to-buy list is non-negotiable. In that way, he can easily avoid impulse buying, thus saving money and time.

Keempee, who recently played a significant role in the Kapamilya rom-com “2 Good 2 Be True,” shared that he has 11 tattoos, all of which has significant meanings because his on body art is: “Kung magpapa-tattoo ka dapat related sa’yo, may ibig sabihin sa’yo. Hindi lang ‘yung basta maglalagay ka ng kahit ano diyan tapos pagdating ng panahon pagsisisihan mo.”

Male piercings were a cool thing in the ‘90s that’s why he has three ear piercings. He doesn’t plan to add more, especially in other parts of the body, thinking he wouldn’t be able to bear the pain. Keempee also shared that his child has a belly button piercing, meaning he’s okay with the trend.

When he was younger, Keempee doesn’t stick with a curfew. He could go home even as late as six o’clock the next morning. However, now at 49, the latest he can endure partying is around midnight. Sometimes he just makes excuses to leave the party early.
