Tayong Dalawa, which aired on ABS-CBN in 2009, tells the story of two men, sharing the same name and the same father both fight for the love of the same woman. While JR (Gerald Anderson) grows up poor, Dave (Jake Cuenca) grows up having everything that he could want and need. When their paths cross as boys, they become the best of friends, but all that is about to change when they both fall in love with the same girl, Audrey (Kim Chiu).

It started when two women gave birth to babies from same man and they both named their sons as “David Garcia Jr.” JR's mother Marlene, is the man’s mistress, while Dave's mother is the man’s wife, Ingrid. They enter the Philippine Military Academy together and graduated at the top of the class. But the two families learned that the Dave and JR are half-brothers when David Sr. shows up on graduation day. Dave’s grandmother, Elizabeth, tries to cover up the truth by going so far as to have Marlene imprisoned. When both Dave and JR fell in love with the same woman, Audrey their lives became even more entangled.
