The iconic Star Magic Ball red carpet – it witnessed the brightest stars flaunt their glam game. Moreover, it saw the sweetest of love stories unfold. One of the couples who can consider the Ball a part of their romantic journey is MelaSon or Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco.

As known to many, the two entered the Pinoy Big Brother house as strangers in 2009 and exited as lovers in 2010. A few months after their PBB stint, they debuted on the Star Magic Ball red carpet, glowing with the bliss of a newfound love. We bet Jason fell more in love with Melai upon seeing her perfectly polished look in an elegant black dress with asymmetrical neckline. It might be Melai’s first time stepping on the red carpet, but her confidence and fashion taste were made for a pro! Jason matched his partner’s charismatic aura in a classic coat.

Come 2011, Melai would arrive to the occasion with an even greater mastery of red-carpet fashion. Wearing her long, silky hair down, she had her own ‘Cinderella’ moment in a white ball gown with a sweetheart neckline. Jason likewise pulled out all the stops to complement his lady love’s sublime OOTN. Well, that's how you dress up a teleserye loveteam. To refresh your memory, MelaSon flexed their acting muscles by starring in the afternoon series “Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Mana Po” that year.

Melai was accompanied by friends to the Ball’s 2012 edition. To recall, she and Jason went through a rough patch in their relationship at the time. But, destined for “forever,” they managed to recover from the romantic hurdles and got married in 2013.

In 2014, they attended the star-studded affair, shoulder-to-shoulder as Mr. and Mrs. Francisco, glistening with the heavenly feeling of love – just like the old times. As if to signify a fresh start in their fairy tale, Melai elevated her look in a black-and-white dress, with her tresses kept in a messy bun and with a kiss of red on her lips.

Growing more comfortable on the red carpet, Mr. and Mrs. Francisco shared a kiss in front of spectators as they walked to the venue. Melai was a vision of elegance in her champagne-colored long gown with cape, while Jason looked dapper in a classic all-black suit.
