Aesthetic, striking, downright a masterpiece – The Broken Marriage Vow’s official poster is finally released, three weeks before its premiere, and everyone can’t contain their excitement.

After the unveiling of its emotion-packed trailer and some behind-the-scenes snippets of its unique Pinoy-dominated wardrobe, the upcoming Kapamilya teleserye stunned anew with its official poster uploaded across social media.

A short clip on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel gave us a glimpse into artist Justin Besana’s editing process. Then, lead stars Jodi Sta Maria, Zanjoe Marudo Zaijian Jaranilla, and Sue Ramirez spoke poetic words about love – its beauty and dangers – while momentous scenes from the series are interspersed in the background.

“Gaano man katatag ang pagmamahal, pwede pa ring wasakin ng kasinungalingan. Gaano man katibay ang tiwala, ‘pag di iningatan ay pwedeng mawala.

Kaya ang taong bumubuo sa’yo ay ang tanging may kakayahan na basagin ang pagkatao mo.

Pahinain ka man ng mga tinik na sugat sa puso mo, patatapangin ka ng pinakamahalagang tao sa buhay mo.”

From there, we see poetry turn into visuals. The poster is infused with significant elements that sell Jodi’s Dr Jill Ilustre as a woman of power. Savage energy can be found through her eyes in a portrait that served as the poster’s core. It’s aptly embellished with a rose in the middle where the other characters – Zanjoe as the cheating husband David, Zaijian as the son Gio, and Sue as the mistress Lexi – appear, plus shattered pieces of glass all over.

“Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.” Just looking at all the elements in the poster, viewers immediately know what awaits them on January 24, 2022.

The Broken Marriage Vow is the Filipino adaptation of the hit British drama series “Doctor Foster” and its Korean version “The World of the Married.” It also stars Jane Oineza, Joem Bascon, Art Acuña, Rachel Alejandro, Bianca Manalo, Empress Schuck, and Angeli Bayani.
