After years of focusing on hosting “Magandang Buhay”, Jolina Magdangal is ready to dive back into the world of acting with the upcoming Dreamscape Entertainment series “Lavender Fields,” and she couldn’t be more thrilled.

Not only will “Lavender Fields” mark her return to the small screen, but it will also showcase a different facet of her talent. Viewers can look forward to seeing the Pinoy Pop Culture icon in a fresh and compelling performance, blooming anew and adding another layer to her already impressive career.

"Parang hindi ito chuvachuchu," she quipped during the cast reveal, suggesting that her role as Lily Atienza in her comeback teleserye differs from her usual sweet and romantic characters of the past. “After more than three decades dito sa industriya, meron ka pa ring hahanapin. And I guess, ‘yun ‘yung magkaroon ka ng bagong character,” said the multi-talented star.

She’ll be joining Janine Gutierrez, Jericho Rosales, and Asian Academy Creative Awards Best Actress Jodi Sta. Maria in the cast. With such a stellar line up, Jolina feels a mix of nervousness and excitement.

She recalls working with Jodi in their younger years, but this time they will face each other in intense acting showdowns. “Sobra ko siyang pinapanood at sobrang nagaglingan ako sa kanya, nabibilib ako sa kanya. ‘Yung mga soaps niya, fan na fan kami ng nanay ko,” she talked about Jodi. Equally, she is eager to share the screen with Janine and Jericho, as this marks her first collaboration with them in a drama.
