The return of the country's first queer dating reality show starts on a high note as its pilot episode trends nationwide and has captured viewers from US, Canada, Middle East since its premiere last Wednesday (June 26).
Viewers were instantly charmed by the new set of campers and revealed its early favorites, Pipoy Oreiro, Miggy Ruallo, Martin Chua, and Ejay Dimayacyac. Netizens also commended the diversity of the campers as well as Mela Habijan's hosting. As of this writing, the pilot episode garnered more than 200,000 views.
Meanwhile, Mela shared in the show's media conference how the campers will rediscover themselves aside from possibly finding a spark in the second season.
"What is exciting about this season is hindi na lang siya quest for love but also about discovering and re-discovering who you are. ‘Yun ‘yung nakita ko sa campers this season na binuksan ang kanilang mga sarili. Because I think through their strong and vulnerable points doon makikita yung dahilan kung bakit sila kamahal-mahal," said Mela.
Director Theodore Boborol also discussed that the new season will feature more of the interaction of the campers aside from the challenges. Meanwhile, producer Patrick Valencia and writer Hyro Aguinaldo promised exciting twists and longer episodes for viewers to enjoy.
