The cast of the much-anticipated DonBelle series “Can’t Buy Me Love” has been revealed in a recent story conference and script reading. We tell you, the ensemble is going to be so huge and exciting!

Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano will be joined by seasoned thespians Agot Isidro, Rowell Santiago, Ruffa Gutierrez, Celeste Legazpi, and Nova Villa. The younger cast members include Darren Espanto, Maris Racal, Albie Casiño, Kaila Estrada, Joao Constancia, Karina Bautista, and Vivoree.

The stars were joined at the hip after the event, fitting together like puzzle pieces during photo ops. If the chemistry is so good this early, then it will surely get more mesmerizing once the cameras start rolling for the teleserye.

What we know so far about the story is that Belle’s character, Caroline Tiu belongs to a wealthy Filipino-Chinese family. Based on the one line she read from the script and the manner she delivered it, Caroline is a seemingly strong and independent woman, struggling with the pressure brought about by her family’s traditions.

Meanwhile, Donny will be playing the lowly but determined Bingo Rivera. During the script reading, he uttered a line about the many things that money can buy, which can contribute to a person’s temporary happiness.

The other character names have been revealed as well. “Can’t Buy Me Love” is expected to be packed with scenes that would make all DonBelle lovers smile and blush in ‘kilig’, without neglecting the slice-of-life scenarios that would speak to the audience. After all, Director Mae Cruz-Alviar has this reputation for creating dramas that bring laughter, tears, and all the relatable feels.

Based on the official trailer, “Can’t Buy Me Love” is coming this October. This marks DonBelle’s first primetime teleserye as a loveteam since their phenomenal launch via “He’s Into Her.”
