Inanunsyo ng ABS-CBN, ang nangungunang content provider sa Pilipinas, at ng Nippon TV, ang nangungunang multiplatform entertainment powerhouse and ratings champion broadcaster sa Japan, na magkakaroon ng Pinoy adaptation ang sikat na Japanese drama na “Mother.” Kikilalanin ito sa Pilipinas sa titulo nitong “Saving Grace” at pagbibidahan ito ng award-winning actress na si Julia Montes.

Unang umere sa Nippon TV noong 2010, ang “Mother” ay ang most exported scripted format sa Asya matapos pumatok sa buong mundo ang kwento nito tungkol sa pagmamahal at pamilya. Ang Pilipinas ang ikasampung bansang gagawa ng sariling bersyon nito kasunod ng Turkey, South Korea, Ukraine, Thailand, China, France, Spain, Saudi Arabia, at Mongolia.

Si Julia ang magsisilbing eleventh ‘mother’ na magbibigay-buhay sa isang napakahalagang karakter na siguradong aantig sa mga puso ng mga manonood at mag-iiwan din ng importanteng mga aral.

Malapit na ring makilala ang iba pang mga karakter na makakasama ni Julia sa “Saving Grace.”

Mapapanood ng mga Pilipino ang “Saving Grace” sa 2025. Sinusundan ng nakakawiling kwento ang isang problemadong guro na ilalayo ang isang bata mula sa abusado nitong ina at pagpiyepiyestahan ito sa balita.
