Ria Atayde looked beautiful and confident on TV Patrol’s Star Patrol segment last Wednesday, May 10. As the guest Star Patroller, she read news about the Miss Universe 2023 preliminary competition, and her brother Arjo Atayde’s new series “Cattleya Killer,” which she is also a part of.

One way to tell if a guest Star Patroller performed with flying colors is through the comments of anchors Noli De Castro, Bernadette Sembrano, Karen Davila, and Henry Omaga-Diaz. Based on their closing banter, we can tell they were impressed.

Karen commended Ria’s confidence despite the latter admitting to feeling nervous. ‘Kabayan’ Noli joked that he would like to be part of Ria’s future wedding entourage as “flower boy,” and he was surprised when she engaged in a witty back-and-forth. He even let her read his extro spiel, which is a first on TV Patrol.

Meanwhile, on her Instagram page, Bernadette posted an appreciation post for Ria, whom she applauded for her positivity that leaves everyone feeling empowered.

“Many admire Ria for flaunting her plus size. Many call it confidence. May I say? She is truly kind and in touch with who she is. Mabuti siyang tao who loves the people around her – and they love her back. I do,” Bernadette wrote in the caption. “Ria to me is a warm cup of hot choco on a rainy day. Ang sarap kasama.”

“Ria, thank you for sharing your light to others. Many are inspired to embrace their ‘flaws’ now because of you,” she added, to which the actress replied, “Super love you, Ate B!!! Thank you for your kind words and for keeping me calm yesterday.”

TV Patrol’s resident meteorologist Ariel Rojas likewise gushed about the Kapamilya star’s beauty, brains, and confidence.

Her warmth ushered in some good vibes in the studio!
