Ivana Alawi was indeed a blushing bride as her character Cherry Red tied the knot with Gerald Anderson’s Paco Estrella in the episode of "A Family Affair" aired last Wednesday, July 13.

She was absolutely stunning in a fully-embellished sweetheart beige bridal gown with a serpentine long train that truly exhibited her sexy curves, which was complemented by her extensive mesh veil and simple bouquet of white flowers. But aside from being fascinated by her beauty, viewers surely weren’t able to contain their kilig as they watched her walk down the aisle going to her then-husband-to-be Paco. We also got touched by her wedding vows, through which she expressed her gratitude and undying love for him, who tirelessly and unconditionally adores her since their younger years – despite being turned down a couple of times.

“Sinong mag-aakala na hahantong ang lahat sa ganito? Ikaw at ako, tayong dalawa, magmamahalan,” she started off, not being able to hold her emotions. “Simple sana kung ikaw lang at ako, pero hindi. Apat kayong pakakasalan ko, apat kayong magkakapatid na kasabay kong lumaki. Para tayong isang tunay na pamilya [dahil] hindi n’yo tinuring na iba.”

“Ang dami na nating pinagdaanan, pero sa lahat ng bagay, meron akong isang importanteng natututunan. Natutunan ko na love is a choice,” she said, then jested how she’s able to incorporate English in her speech, much to the amusement of the entourage.

Cherry Red then continued, “Itinuro mo sa akin na ‘love is a choice’. Salamat kasi pinili mo ako kasi 'di ba, ang ganda ko? Kaya gaya ng mga choices natin sa buhay, ipinapangako ko na paninidigan ko ang pagmamahal ko para sa’yo. Ipinapangako ko na kahit ano man ang mangyari, kahit ano man ang dumating, ikaw lang. Ikaw at ikaw pa rin. Ikaw lagi. Ikaw lang.”

Of course, Paco retorted with an equally-heartfelt vow that probably made some of us tear up and even sent the butterflies in our stomachs aflutter, especially when they shared their first kiss as husband and wife.
