Aside from her relationships with her now-boyfriend Eloy (Daniel Padilla), her boss-slash-patient “Lolo Sir” Hugo Agcaoili (Ronaldo Valdez), her mom Margie (Gelli de Belen), and younger sister Pat (Bianca de Vera), we also admire the amiable connection of Ali (Kathryn Bernardo) with her one-and-only best friend Queenie, played by talented actress Majoy Apostol.

Arguably, Majoy is new to the eyes of some viewers and we haven’t seen her in any Kapamilya talk show yet, so we didn’t know much about her. And in this feature, let us share to you a few things that we found out about her as we stalked her a little on Instagram and did a research about her on the internet, for you to get to know her better.

She is an award-winning actress

Just in case you’re assuming that she’s new to the industry, well, you are kinda wrong since she has been around for quite a long time already. Her claim to fame was her award-winning portrayal of the main protagonist in the critically-acclaimed feature film “Birdshot” in 2017, which was screened and even competed in other film festivals here and abroad. Her impressive portrayal of the lead character Maya brought her several Best Actress trophies from local and international award-giving bodies.

This monumental feat paved the way for the 24-year-old Tourism Management graduate from Bulacan State University to land more acting jobs, which include Ipaglaban Mo, Maalaala Mo Kaya, Precious Hearts Romances Presents Los Bastardos (2019), and Walang Hanggang Paalam (2020).

Her showbiz career actually kicked off when she was 13 years old and starred the indie short flick “Unawa.”

She’s a certified dog lover

Whenever she’s not busy with work, we can probably see Majoy hanging out with her family and friends, or with their dogs at home. In her first-ever vlog uploaded in April 2020, she disclosed that they have nine pooches then and a few on the way since one of their dogs were pregnant during that time. There are also a few pictures of her with their pets on her Instagram account.

She’s a fashionista

As we all know, being a celebrity requires looking good on-and-off-cam. So, even though she’s not really talented when it comes to putting on makeup, Majoy learned on her own as she’s the one who fixes herself up whenever she goes on auditions or attends events – as what she shared in one of her vlogs. She actually had a few videos on her YouTube channel, wherein she shared her makeup and skin care routine, go-to makeup products, and even outfit ideas for every occasion.

A quick glance on her IG account and we could easily conclude that she apparently loves dolling herself up as she has tons of OOTDs pics.

Aside from these, we also discovered a lot of things about the pretty and talented Bulakenya through her introductory vlog, such as how fond she is of ice cream, sinigang, pizza, pasta, coffee, and chocolate; how she used to join modelling shows, community sagala or Santacruzan, and school pageants; how afraid she is of amusement park rides and watching horror movies alone and at night.
