How Noel Comia Jr. proved he’s the “Poging Lodi” in Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids 2 journey

At the age of 14, Noel Comia Jr. is incredibly making his mark in the field of performing arts, as he boasts numerous appearances on television programs, films, theater plays, and advertisements. Among those, it was his award-winning titular stint in the Cinemalaya 2017 film entry “Kiko Boksingero” that catapulted him to fame and cemented his reputation as a promising young actor.

However, it is his enthralling stride in Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids Season 2 that has proven his versatility because he is able to showcase his brilliance in portraying various characters, his exceptional singing prowess, and his surprising dancing skills.

WEEK 1 - Michael Jackson

He rocked the night away on the very first time he stepped out of the iconator covering Michael Jackson’s “Rock With You”. 

WEEK 2 - Pepe Smith


His unbelievable transformation into Pepe Smith brought him his first-ever medal as he completely resembled the Pinoy rock icon’s awesomeness, look, nuances, and even his voice, which blew the jury’s mind.

WEEK 3 - Tina Turner

Noel had a taste of being a woman through his rendition of Tina Turner’s “What’s Love Got To Do With It”. 

WEEK 4 - Ed Sheeran

He would not be called “Poging Lodi” for nothing, right? His “Perfect” impersonation of the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran.

WEEK 5 - Barry Manilow



We were all so blown away as he strutted down the stage, exactly looking like his icon Barry Manilow, and left us teary-eyed with his heartfelt performance of “Somewhere Down the Road”.

WEEK 6 - Rico J. Puno



The 14-year-old heartthrob got our Titas and Titos reminiscent of their younger years as he thrilled everyone with his take on Rico J. Puno’s “Sorry Na, Pwede Ba?”.

WEEK 7 - Frank Sinatra
 



Our hearts were indeed filled with song and would really let him sing forevermore upon watching him channel the Frank Sinatra in him.

WEEK 8 - Bob Marley




From his signature dreadlocks and hippie fashion to his laidback voice, he absolutely brought reggae icon Bob Marley back to life with his evocative cover of “Waiting In Vain”.

WEEK 9 - Justin Timberlake
 



Dancing might not be his second nature, but Noel was able to bring the house down ala-Justin Timberlake with his impressive performance of “Can’t Stop The Feeling”.

WEEK 10 - Martin Nievera

We surely had no second thoughts in saying how much we love his flawless impersonation of the Concert King Martin Nievera singing his classic hit “Say That You Love Me”.

WEEK 11 - Elton John


Noel proved that he isn’t so young to be singing the blues as he left us awestruck with his flamboyant impression of Elton John and effusive version of “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”.

WEEK 12 - Blakdyak


He once again showed off his versatility when he transformed into Blakdyak and amused us with his exuberant rendition of “Modelong Charing”.

WEEK 13 - Tom Jones


Noel once again proved why he is dubbed “Poging Lodi” as he presented a thrilling version of Tom Jones’ “Kiss”.

WEEK 14 - Michael Bublé


His take on Michael Buble’s cover of “Sway” is so flattering, it tempted us to dance ballroom all through the night.

WEEK 15 - Kenny Rogers with Elha Nympha

After their duet of the classic “Beauty and the Beast”, he had the chance to sing again with his good friend Elha as they graced the stage as music legends (and buddies for more than 30 decades!) Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton, the brilliant voices behind the song “Islands in the Stream”.
