Tonight, April 8, the Live Grand Showdown of “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids” will happen at the Resorts World Manila. After several weeks of amazing transformations, the 8 cute and talented contestants will impersonate music icons one last time. Who will become the first ever Grand Champion of the Kids edition? Before that, let us look back at the unforgettable performances this season of “Talented Cutie”, Sam Shoaf.
For his first transformation, Sam became Bruno Mars and owned the stage when he performed his famous song “Uptown Funk”.
He transformed into a woman and gave a soulful performance as Alicia Keys. He sang her 2003 hit single “If I Ain't Got You”.
The “Talented Cutie” gave an impressive performance when he became the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, and sang “Jailhouse Rock”.
He showed off his vocal skills when he transformed into John Legend and serenaded the audience with his hit song “All of Me”.
Sam became the weekly winner when he became the Filipino rock music icon Pepe Smith and performed his song “Balong Malalim”.
He also gave a flamboyant performance as Prince and sang the icon’s alternative/indie single “Kiss”.
The “Talented Cutie” gave another memorable performance when he transformed into MC Hammer and sang his single “U Can’t Touch This”.
He proved his versatility as a performer when he became country music icon Kenny Rogers and serenaded the crowd with “Through The Years”, a song from the singer’s 1981 album “Share Your Love”.
Sam transformed into a woman again and became Pink. He performed her 2001 pop single “Get The Party Started”.
He brought the house down when he became Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano and gave an astounding performance of his hit single “Hataw Na”. Even Gary V himself was impressed with his amazing transformation.
Sam also became the King of Latin Pop, Enrique Iglesias, and performed the singer’s 2001 single “Hero”.
He got the chance to transform into one of the people he idolizes when he became Pinoy rock icon Bamboo and showed off his vocal range as he sang “Hallelujah”.
Sam proved his talent in both singing and dancing when he became music icon George Michael and sang his pop single “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go”.
