Filipino singer/dancer/actor/VJ/host Sam Concepcion will soon bring his numerous talents to the Your Face Sounds Familiar stage. He will, however, not be performing as his multi-skilled self but as other various musical icons.
Born in 1992, the young talent has the knack for performance in his DNA. His parents Raymund Concepcion and Gene Concepcion were both part of the Metropolitan Theater during their heydays. At the age of two, Sam can already carry a tune and dance to simple songs.
He was discovered at the age of five when he landed a role as a young Jose Rizal in a play titled "Sino Ka Ba, Jose Rizal?" A talent manager encouraged him to sign up with S.T.A.G.E.S. and enroll in the Trumplets Playshop after seeing him onstage. This led to his other early theater projects like "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe," "Peter Pan and the Time Machine," and "Mr. Noah’s Big Boat."
