Sheena Belarmino as Alanis Morissette - 24 Stars
“Today, hindi kita kilala, Sheena. It’s Alanis Morissette dito kasama ko ngayon,” Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids host Billy Crawford declared.
For the fifth time, the Inday Wonder has bagged the top place this week on the hit impersonation tilt among kids. She was the very first performer on this week’s episode and made a mind-blowing kick off.
“Alam mo, hindi ako masyadong impressed… Sorry ha? Kasi sobra akong impressed,” judge Ogie Alcasid added.
Sheena Belarmino did her magic again. As she “transformed” into Alanis Morissette and sang the Canadian singer-songwriter’s hit song “Hand in My Pocket” with much verve, the audience could not help but cheer in amazement.
And just like what judge Ogie said, nothing much had changed in Sheena with her simple outfit and absence of prosthetics or an elaborate wig. Sheena turned into Alanis naturally using her impressive skills in singing and impersonation. She even learned to play the harmonica only for her performance.
After she stretched out her arms at the end of her performance, Sheena remained in character slaying the popular 90s anthem with a standing ovation by all members of the jury.
“Alam mo, importanteng malaman ng lahat: hindi niya kilala si Alanis Morissette. All the more naging impressive ‘yong ginawa mo,” said comebacking judge Gary Valenciano, who also celebrated his birthday.
Sheena gained all eight stars from each of the three judges, topping this week’s ranking with 24 stars. Following Sheena are the TNT Boys with 18 stars, Noel Comia, Jr. getting 17 stars, then Chunsa and Onyok both having 15 stars. Marco placed fifth with 13 stars, while Esang and Krystal both got 12 stars for their dazzling performances.
