There’s indeed no turning back now for the FCPC Baliktanaw as they are now a few steps away from their dream of dominating the biggest dance reality show in the country after being chosen as the best among the rest of the acts that joined the Team Division of World of Dance Philippines.
As they zoomed to the Grand Finals, let’s reminisce their triumphant journey through their consistently astonishing and nail-biting performances.
As pristine as the white garbs they wore on The Qualifiers round, the neatness of the routine of this 11-piece squad amid the mind-blowing and extreme unique stunts they exhibited absolutely amazed the judges who praised them for the 150% and more energy they infused to their presentation.
It was a showdown that's truly a feast in the eyes as FCPC Baliktanaw and Move To The Groove faced off in The Duels round with their intense numbers both screaming with Filipino power. However, it was still the impeccable performance of the former that reigned as they made the jury stand from their seats and hail them for their intelligently-helmed, all-original number.
As how Judge Gary Valenciano had put it, FCPC Baliktanaw delivered another "spectacular, outstanding, and jaw-dropping" Pinoy-inspired performance that received standing ovations from the truly flabbergasted panel, not to mention Billy Crawford even standing atop the table to express the intensity of his feelings towards what he had witnessed. Thus, there's no wonder that they made it through The Cut.
The Division Finals
Far from the upbeat music they used to groove to in their past exhibitions, FCPC Baliktanaw banked on a more laidback beat without compromising the ferocity and the patriotic concept that have become their mark. Just like in the past rounds, the group didn't fail to win the favor of the three judges as seen on their positive reactions during and after their awe-inspiring performances in the Division Finals.
Is FCPC Baliktanaw going to be the country's official bet to the World of Dance USA? You better not miss the World Finals of World Dance Philippines this weekend!
