As Celine (Angelica Panganiban) and Anton (Zanjoe Marudo) resolve to negotiate with Robbie (Robbie Wachtel)’s kidnappers, Emman (Paulo Avelino) stands by his ground and takes a different route to save his child.
Emman validates his doubts as the abductors escape with the ransom money without Robbie’s release. Emman sustains a gunshot wound after a shootout with the suspects who managed to get away. A worried Celine runs to Emman and she demands Anton to rush her ex-husband to the hospital. Reluctance and apathy were written in Anton’s face.
The hospital’s slow emergency response frustrates Celine, who, deeply worried, takes the medical kit by herself and applies first aid to Emman’s wound. Later, Emman forces himself to continue the search for Robbie. Meanwhile, Celine takes Emman’s side after witnessing the incident, leading to a heated argument with Anton.
Emman strategizes by alarming the kidnappers. Triggered, Dexter (Jake Cuenca) records Robbie crying for help and sends Emman the video. The latter spots a clue on the video that may possibly lead him to Robbie’s whereabouts.
Emman, backed by Bernie (McCoy de Leon) and Caloy (JC Santos), inspects every yacht ports in Alcala. A shootout happens as Emman spot the kidnappers standing guard by a yacht docked in the area. He locks eyes with the leader and recognizes him as Dexter, a former colleague who led him to jeopardy.
Emman hijacks an engine boat to chase the fleeing Dexter and his men. He catches a glimpse of Robbie. In the middle of the intense pursuit, Emman contacts Sam (Arci Munoz) to inform her of Dexter’s involvement in Robbie’s kidnapping. Surprised and puzzled, Sam tracks Dexter’s criminal record and discovers that the syndicate member received parole. She gets frustrated.
Meanwhile, Caloy is rushed to the clinic after having been shot by one of Dexter’s men. The outspoken Caloy confessed that Emman suspects police involvement in the kidnapping, thus keeping the activities off the radar. The chief of police expresses disappointment while another suspicious cop quietly eavesdrops on the conversation.
Will Emman manage to save Robbie from Dexter?
As the pilot week dives into more intense action-packed episodes, the cast of Walang Hanggang Paalam was joined by almost 30,000 viewers on Kapamilya Online Live for the interactive show “Walang Hanggang Kamustahan” aired every commercial gap.
In this episode, Mccoy de Leon, JC Santos, Victor Silayan, Ronnie Lazaro, and Director Darnel Villaflor react to the freshly aired scenes and the netizens’ comments.
The newest Kapamilya series continue to impress the audiences with spectacular episodes mounted amid the pandemic. Direk Darnel stressed that they adhere to strict protocols without compromising the quality of the program. Such a complex process entails team effort and advanced production techniques he brands as “hologram” mode.
This strategy was especially applied to the scenes involving child star Robbie Wachtel, who plays as Emman (Paulo Avelino) and Celine (Angelica Panganiban)’s abducted child, due to strict quarantine guidelines concerning minors. Just goes to show that ABS-CBN keeps up as the pandemic changes the production landscape. And despite major roadblocks, the commitment and talent of Kapamilya artists and production team never wane.
In the gripping action scene at the port wherein Emman chased Dexter’s group to save his son, viewers could only see the pool of talents’ immense acting chops and the perfect cinematographic elements. However, just a few hours prior to the take, the Kapamilya Network’s franchise denial was announced. The team was enveloped in silence for a moment, as Direk Darnel recalled. But nothing could crush the Kapamilya grit and passion. And as they say, the show must go on. With all the debacles around them, Team Walang Hanggang Paalam stepped up to still give viewers the kind of entertainment they deserve.
The lock-in taping was of course a new experience. Being away from home for too long is part of the challenges. It was especially difficult for new dad JC Santos. Nonetheless, “challenge accepted.” He believes that a little sacrifice is part of the job, as an actor and a family man.
McCoy has a different story of homesickness. When teased about his romance with fellow Kapamilya Elisse Joson, the ‘chinito’ charmer brims with ‘kilig.’
Ronnie would agree that mounting a teleserye is a collaborative effort. The veteran actor and his younger co-stars like McCoy and JC pretty much hit it off, seen in how they were bantering during the live shows. He added that there’s so much more to look forward to about McCoy and JC’s portrayals. Meanwhile, Victor’s role character is expected to appear in next week’s episodes.
Watch out for more thrilling, action-packed scenes and episodes of Walang Hanggang Paalam on Kapamilya Channel and Kapamilya Online Live.
