Roxanne Guinoo is officially back in showbiz as part of the newest Kapamilya serye Walang Iwanan. The actress is thrilled as she ventures into acting once again after taking a hiatus. “Masaya and excited and siyempre proud kami sa project na ‘to dahil alam namin na mamahalin ng viewers kasi realeserye talaga siya. First time gumawa ng ABS-CBN ng [teleserye na] nangyari sa totoong-buhay,” she said.
Roxanne explained that she took a rest from showbiz for numerous years because she decided to focus on taking care of her children and to be present during their early growing years.
What made her decide to come back to showbiz? “Ready na ako ulit at kasi malalaki na rin ‘yung kids ko at na-miss ko talaga and I make sure na kung gagawa man ako ng trabaho ‘yung kaya kong balansihen ‘yung oras ko with my family.” Even though that she is in showbiz again now, Roxanne stressed that she makes sure that she still spends quality time with her family. “At the same time binibigyan ng oras ko pa rin po ‘yung mga anak ko and rule of thumb po ‘yan, magtatrabaho po ako pero may oras pa rin ako sa pamilya ko, ‘yun ang gusto ko,” he said.
She shared that her husband is actually supportive of her decision of going back to the entertainment industry. “Di naman siya kontra sa ginagawa ko at kami naman everything na gagawin pinag-uusapan naming dalawa,” she said. Now that she is a mom, Roxanne said that is veering away from sexy roles and scenes.
