We teleserye lovers have found a new tandem to stan – DanKay from the trending Kapamilya drama series Viral Scandal. We admire how their love stays even on the bad days, especially now that the family continues to suffer from the aftermath of Rica (Charlie Dizon)’s scandalous video, and Dan learned about Kakay’s shameful past involving her ex-flame Mayor Troy (Jake Cuenca). Sometimes we also feel dreamy and ‘kilig’ watching Mr. and Mrs. Sicat get bubbly and sweet like teenagers in love.

Even Dimples and Miko can’t help but gush about their characters’ love that’s messy yet beautiful at the same time. It’s a love so unconditional and rare it made Dimples want to write poetry. Read her rosy caption:

Dimples also showered Miko with words of appreciation for his brilliant acting. She said, “The road to getting the actor to play Dan was long and uncertain. But it was all worth the wait because Miko Raval is doing a stellar job on Viral Scandal.” She added that she’s heard of his good work as Fabio in The Killer Bride and the actor will enchant us anew “with his most endearing and powerful performance as Dan.” She tagged Miko’s real-life wife, Kaira Dimatulac, who’s sure bound to be flooded with pride. Then Dimples expressed gratitude for the newfound friendship with her leading man.

Miko, in return, credits Dimples for making them a team. He mentioned in an interview with PUSH how the actress helped him feel comfortable and be in the zone.

We end this with one of DanKay’s most touching scenes where Kakay started live selling to earn extra while Dan was on the side, watching his spouse with so much awe, and holding a pen and pad ready to jot down orders. As he was setting up the equipment, Kakay asked, “Maganda na ba ako, lab?” then Dan replied, with overflowing sincerity, “Oo. Sobra.” He was there throughout, giving Kakay a nod in moments when she’s holding back. Can we just say ‘MINE’ for a limited-edition love like that?
