2020 was a jam-packed year of dramatic events that even our Kapamilya teleseryes had to keep up with the pace. Several did not disappoint as we were able to witness some of the most heated clashes that kept us on the edges of our seats this year, as we see in this Paandar 2020 compilation.
FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano delivered one of the biggest fight scenes this year. When Cardo (Coco Martin) was already fed up with the abuses done by Turo (Val Iglesias) and his men, he decided to stand up to them and teach them a lesson. The drama teleserye may have been serving us amazing action scenes for five years now, but it still doesn’t fail to shock us with some show-stopping battles.
From Pamilya Ko, the drama centering on the lives of the Mabunga family, we got to see one of their most gripping scenes. Tina (Nathalie Hart), Nathan’s (JC de Vera) ex-wife, slapped Peachy (Maris Racal) on-stage in front of a whole audience stemming from her anger about Peachy’s suspected affair with Nathan. This is considered one of the show’s most memorable moments.
A Soldier’s Heart, another action drama teleserye, portrayed the intensity of the battlefield with gunshots and moving emotions. It broke many people’s hearts as the brothers fighting on different sides of the war, Alex (Gerald Anderson) and Saal (Sid Lucero), had confronted each other leading to Saal shooting Alex to his death.
Drama and catty fights run in the family for two teleseryes. In Love Thy Woman, half-sisters Jia (Kim Chiu) and Dana (Yam Concepcion) threw slaps at each other during a head-to-head on who deserves to take care of the young Michael (JJ Quilantang). Their respective mothers, Kai (Sunshine Cruz) and Lucy (Eula Valdez) also get into a heated argument regarding their daughters’ affairs that immediately escalated to a hair-pulling fight due to their own personal conflicts.
Kadenang Ginto didn’t fall short to the list of family dramas that viewers awaited daily. Cassie (Francine Diaz) and Marga (Andrea Brillantes)’s cafe debacle involved some cake but it was definitely not sweet. Tupe (Kyle Echarri) even had to enter the scene to break up the family feud. The vexation between the two is no surprise as their own mothers, Romina (Beauty Gonzales) and Daniela (Dimples Romana), have been hating each other even before their daughters were born. The airport scene where Daniela is suspicious of Romina who may have faked Cassie’s death led to a hot-blooded brawl between the two.
One of the best gut-wrenching exchanges of words that didn’t lead to a physical fight was executed by The Killer Bride, the drama about a town befalling the curse of a killer bride’s revenge. Luna (Alexa Ilacad) throws some shade on Emma (Janella Salvador) for playing Elias’ heart. Emma comes back at her not-so-delicately with the hard truth that she’s only creating drama about something that isn’t her business.
Walang Hanggang Paalam’s love triangle also had a fiery altercation between Emman (Paulo Avelino) and Anton (Zanjoe Marudo) over Celine (Angelica Panganiban). After a disagreement among the three, Emman’s protectiveness of Celine finally takes over and the men get into a vicious fight involving a few punches and kicks.
In Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin, not only do Ellice’s (Iza Calzado) pearls fall to the floor, but even the jaws of our faces when Marissa (Jodi Sta. Maria) halts her from walking away with the projects she thought she deserved. A series of slaps were delivered but Marrisa was put in her place when Ellice put down facts by saying they are rightfully hers and that everything Marissa thought would be hers are owned by Ellice.
We all love the drama especially if it’s as bewitching as these 10 popular heated arguments and fight scenes. 2021 will surely unleash more so make sure to stay tuned for all the new Kapamilya episodes and teleseryes coming your way!
