Despite anyone’s best efforts to be as good as possible, there are still people who will find a reason to be mean on the internet, especially since people can stay anonymous. So, how does your favorite Kapamilya celebrities handle the hate comments? We compiled their answers from Entertainment.ABS-CBN.com exclusive Search Party!
Yen Santos has mastered being not affected by avoiding the hurtful negative comments. She is not even tempted to read them. “Nandyan naman na ‘yan. Bashers are everywhere,” she added.
Pamilya Ko star Heaven Peralejo had to learn this the hard way. According to her, she used to cry over the bashers. At one point, it even made her question herself. Thankfully, she is now immune because of her strong support system. “It’s a joke na lang for me, parang pagtatawanan ko na lang,” she stated.
Carlo Aquino is another Kapamilya star who relies on the people around him. “Pinapahanap ko sa NBI,” he joked. The A Soldier’s Heart actor knows that he cannot stop others from saying whatever they want. Instead, he keeps in mind not to pay attention to strangers because the only opinions that matter are from those who truly care about him.
Seth Fedelin chooses to be more optimistic. “Gusto ko lang magpasalamat sa inyong mga bashers kasi you are my motivation,” the Gold Squad member said. He wants to prove that he has the skills to accomplish his goals. “Mahal na mahal ko kayo and sana balang araw mahalin niyo rin naman ako,” he added.
Jane de Leon agrees with Seth on loving thy enemy. The Darna star wants to believe that bashers write mean comments because they are going through something personally and need an outlet. “Mahal ko rin ‘yung mga ‘yan. May pinagdadaanan lang sila kaya kailangan natin intindihin,” she ended.
