A first-of-its-kind digital interactive fund-raising event featuring videos of intimate yet outstanding musical numbers from Kapamilya artists and touching messages from the network’s biggest stars streamed or taped from their homes was aired Sunday (March 22) to push ABS-CBN’s Pantawid Ng Pag-ibig campaign.
The six-hour “At Home Together Concert,” aired on ABS-CBN’s broadcast channels and digital streaming platforms featured a multitude of Kapamilya artists sharing talent and insight to uplift the spirits and respond to the needs of frontliners and people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
Concert King Martin Nievera started the show rolling with his breathtaking take of “I’ll Be There” while Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano gave a soulful, stirring rendition of one of biggest hits of his career, “Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos.”
Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid would then perform her soaring version of “Araw Gabi” with Ogie Alcasid before Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil did a kilig medley of Bread hits “Baby I’m A Want You,” “Everything I Own,” and the theme song of their teleserye Make It With You.
Toni Gonzaga also sang “Still” while sister Alex Gonzaga doing a vlog about making the most of the quarantine by helping frontliners. Jona then did an enchanting performance of the OPM standard “Paano Kita Pasasalamatan.”
And for the first time on television, newlywed couple Sarah Geronimo-Guidicelli and Matteo Guidicelli prove they really make good music together with their duet of “You Are The Reason.”
Sarah’s fellow coaches in The Voice Teens also gave out special numbers for the “At Home Together Concert”. Broadway diva Lea Salonga sang the classic “Somewhere Over The Rainbow,” Bamboo rendered acoustic versions of his songs “Ikot Ng Mundo” and “Noypi,” while international record producer Apl.de.Ap sang his own take of the folk anthem “Sa Aming Bayan.”
Ivana Alawi would then present her own vlog on how to do important household chores, such as cleaning and disinfecting your respective homes and washing ourselves clean from the virus.
Love Thy Woman star Yam Concepcion then took her ukulele to sing soul classic “Stand By Me.”
Top Kapamilya host and international music sensation Billy Crawford also performed his own composition “We Will Rise,” which he said is very timely and relevant.
It’s Showtime’s Tawag Ng Tanghalan punong hurado Rey Valera sang his classic “Malayo Pa Ang Umaga.”
Vice Ganda would then sing a hilarious catchy tune, “Corona Bye Bye Na, Mag-Final Walk Ka Na.”
ASAP Natin ‘To’s Birit Queens—Jona, Klarisse de Guzman, Angeline Quinto and Morisette Amon—harmoniously performed a stirring, powerful chorus of “Stand Up For Love.”
A meaningful version of “I Won’t Give Up” was performed by Jericho Rosales on lead vocals and Sam Milby in accompanying guitars, appearing together on split screen.
The It’s Showtime hosts then go onscreen to inspire and boost the morale of the viewers. Karylle, Teddy Corpuz and Jugs Jugueta would lead the other hosts located in their respective homes in singing “Pabuhat” and “Kapit Lang.”
Asia’s Nightingale Lani Misalucha then showcased her impressive vocal range as she gave a deeply felt and rousing version of “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
Kim Chiu would then feature her vlog on the effects of COVID-19 health crisis to ordinary people, which is mainly affects their livelihood and calls on viewers to help them alleviate their plight through the Pantawid ng Pag-ibig campaign.
Angeline Quinto then sang her scintillating rendition of “Narito.” Moira dela Torre then performed her latest original tune “Forever Safe” with husband Jason Marvin
Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla then exuded her refined, classy style in singing “Only Hope.” Erik Santos followed with his exceptional performance of “May Bukas Pa.”
Magandang Buhay momshies Karla Estrada and Jolina Magdangal sang a wonderful duet of “Kung Kailangan Mo Ako” before fellow momshie Melai Cantiveros’ vlog on how she deals with the community quarantine, particularly bonding with her kids.
Paulo Avelino then crooned an intimate version of “With A Smile,” followed by Xian Lim’s charming take on “Man In The Mirror.”
Pamilya Ko’s JM de Guzman and A Soldier’s Heart star Carlo Aquino then sang the pop rock tune “Liwanag Sa Dilim” in separate videos. Darren Espanto would then showcase vocal dexterity with the song “Rise Up.”
The Gold Squad—Francine Diaz, Andrea Brillantes, Kyle Echarri, and Seth Fedelin—also shared in a special vlog on how they are making the most of the community quarantine by staying at their respective homes.
Jason Dy then serenaded us with the ballad “Stay With Me” before Inigo Pascual sang his hit ditty “Dahil Sa ‘Yo.”
Pokwang would then share a vlog on nutritious dishes one can whip up while on community quarantine.
Yeng Constantino then moved viewers with her interpretation of the inspirational song “Healer.” Jed Madela and Nyoy Volante then presented a superb collaboration with “His Eye Is On The Sparrow.”
Regine and Ogie would then come back onscreen to sing the enlightening “The Lord Is My Savior.”
And after Megastar Sharon Cuneta delivered a riveting version of “Both Sides Now,” Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo-Guidicelli returned for her rendition of “The Greatest Love of All.”
All the Kapamilya stars then ended the digital concert in unison, singing “Heal The World.”
Other Kapamilya celebrities have also expressed their gratitude for the service and sacrifice of the COVID-19 frontliners and extended their appeal for everyone to donate for the Pantawid ng Pag-ibig campaign.
Apart from the aforementioned artists, several other stars and news personalities sent videos and went live from their homes to acknowledge our efforts medical and security personnel, promote personal hygiene and personal wellness, and plead for viewers’ help to boost funds for the drive aimed at purchasing necessities and food packs for those directly affected by the health crisis.

As the Pantawid Ng Pag-Ibig campaign continues to raise funds for the benefit of those affected by the enhanced community quarantine, who have lost their means of livelihood since people are not allowed to leave their homes due to the health crisis, additional donations are very much welcome.
