We only hear Christmas songs when its, well, the Christmas season. Yet, they have such an easy recall that anyone would be able to remember the tunes. At the same time, bring back memories of childhood and happy moments with the loved ones. So, how can we not use these iconic songs for a game?
One person has to sing a Christmas song without actually making any sound while the other person has to guess the title. It is basically like the Whisper Challenge but without headphones, so you can’t whisper. Otherwise, this would not be a game and they would instead just be singing. And sitting on the couch are Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte!
To determine who will be guessing, they first have to play Rock, Paper, Scissors. First up on the mouthing is Loisa. “Ang hirap naman pala nito,” she quickly realized. It took a while for Ronnie to figure it out but after she tried her best to shape every syllable, he got the answer which was the classic “Ang Pasko ay Sumapit.”
When it was Loisa’s turn to guess “Sa May Bahay Ang Aming Bati,” she only needed seconds. He accused her of cheating, but she recounted that she knew the song well from experience. “Alam ko ‘yun! Nangangaroling ako dati!” she shared.
“Joy to the World” is another iconic Christmas song, but it proved a little difficult for Loisa. “Ano nga ‘yun? English kasi,” she admitted. Luckily, he eventually got it. At one point, it seemed like playing Rock, Paper, Scissors was just as exciting as guessing the songs.
Test your lip reading skills! Play this game with your friends and family this Christmas Day. We promise it would be tons of fun! If you don’t believe us, then check out LoiNie play!
