As a sign of gratitude, the Kapamilya stars gave thanks to the inspiring Filipinos nationwide and it can be seen in this year’s ABS-CBN’s “Thank You for the Love” Christmas station ID. With the theme song performed by the three biggest love teams of this generation James Reid and Nadine Lustre, Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, and Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano together with Rock Royalty Bamboo and “The Voice Kids Season 2” grand champion Elha Nympha, the station ID highlights the perseverance, unconditional acts of love and generosity of the Filipinos. The Queen of All Media Kris Aquino made a comeback in this year’s station ID and was the first Kapamilya who was featured in the video followed by the news anchors of the ABS-CBN News team. Angel Locsin, Matteo Guidicelli, Jessy Mendiola, JC De Vera, and Paulo Avelino spent the afternoon with orphans from Meritxell Children’s World Foundation in Marikina City. “Be My Lady” stars and real life couple Daniel Matsunaga and Erich Gonzales gave thanks and dined in with the farmers of Arayat, Pampanga and while Iza Calzado thanked the teachers of Looc Elementary School in Balete, Batangas. “Ang Probinsyano” star Coco Martin, together with the cast of the top-rating series, gave soldiers from Camp Capinpin in Tanay, Rizal new sets of combat boots and enjoyed a boodle fight feast afterwards. Robi Domingo and Sarah Geronimo of “The Voice” went house-to-house and gave the residents free ABS-CBN digital boxes then later on bonded together while Yen Santos and Albert Martinez of “All Of Me” made the fans happy by appearing in the “Thank You for the Love” fans day at the Quezon City Memorial Circle. For the first time, Sarah Lahbati is also spotted in the station ID with her “Written In The Stars” co-stars Sam Milby and Jolina Magdangal. Jericho Rosales gave a taxi driver a round trip ticket bound to Davao City. The taxi driver was so glad and told Jericho, “Maraming salamat! Makakauwi na ako!” Gerald Anderson with ABS-CBN Cebu personalities led the surprise homecoming tribute for Pinoy Pride boxers and sports heroes Donnie Nietes, Mark Magsayo, and brothers Jason and Albert Pagara, while Piolo Pascual provided new uniforms to the inspiring kids of Bayanijuan Futbol Club in Calauan, Laguna. The cast of “Pasion de Amor” packed some supplies in the Philippine Naval Station Sangley Point in Cavite then airdropped it at the Ayungin shoal. Noli de Castro gave light that the people of Casiguran, Quezon could use when it’s dark. A roving Christmas Noche Buena table with Xian Lim and Kim Chiu also went to different places to gather more families together; “Doble Kara” star Julia Montes with the health and birthing station volunteers in Batangas; Luis Manzano and other “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal” stars went to the fishermen of Rosario Cavite and thanked them by spending some quality time together. The popular Popoy (John Lloyd Cruz) and Basha (Bea Alonzo) gave thanks to the staff and crew of their upcoming movie “A Second Chance.” The station ID also featured Judy Ann Santos and ended with ABS-CBN’s President and CEO Ms. Charo Santos-Concio. The 2015 ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID was created by ABS-CBN Creative Communications Management headed by Robert Labayen, Johnny Delos Santos and Patrick de Leon.
