Ever since she started her showbiz career in 2012, Ingrid Dela Paz has already appeared in a number of Kapamilya series wherein she was able to capture our attention with how she impressively portrayed her every character, just like his depiction of Emma Villadolid in the 2016 series Tubig At Langis.
Majority of the roles she has played may be supporting, but she’s certainly a leading lady in real-life, especially to her beloved non-showbiz husband Kenosche Hanaoka, to whom she’s already married for a year now. They tied the knot on the 14th of April last year through an intimate beach wedding held in El Nido, Palawan, after six years of being together.
We may not fully know how their romance started, but what we’re able to find out is that it didn’t start really smooth. In their exchange of wedding vows, we learned that the 28-year-old actress initially turned him down when he professed his love for her many years ago. Thus, it still amazes her that the man she used to decline is the same man she’s going to spend her lifetime with.
Ken, who she fondly calls “brad” since it’s their term of endearment, is a bodybuilder who has already competed in some bodybuilding competitions and was hailed as a Men’s Physique Champion in 2017. Despite having a child from a previous relationship, that didn’t discourage Ingrid from loving him and eventually getting married with him. They have been to different places together, share the same fondness for Japanese food, and have extended their help to our underprivileged kababayans amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Unlike the character she portrayed in one of the promotional short films of a fastfood chain, Ingrid seemingly didn’t have to do big and drastic adjustments just to be the perfect partner for her hubby as she still can freely be herself. This we can observe with the way she introduced herself on her first-ever video blog uploaded on her newly established YouTube channel.
As we anticipate her next vlog entry, we may catch her again on the re-run of Tubig At Langis, weeknights on Primetime Bida.
