On talks of her film, Para Sa Brokenhearted, the King of Talk asks Yassi Pressman about her first and recent experience with heartbreak. Yassi tells that she was 18 years old then, and how she thought it was the end of the world. The actress shares some moments from those hard times and how she would often break into tears in the middle of a drive, forcing her to pull over so she could grief. She tells that when you were young, the world felt very small and it seems like that love is your whole world. Yassi then describes her recent heartbreak as more like “pain” than heartbreak. When asked about the difference between the two, Yassi responds by saying it’s similar but when she says it’s only “pain” it meant she was more prepared for it—when she knew what’s to come as the break up went through a process of deliberation.
The pretty actress then shares her 3 steps to getting over a heartbreak, which she learned from her previous experiences. The list consists of: knowing yourself better, acceptance of the break-up, and realizing that you are never alone. Yassi goes to explain each step, emphasizing the importance of accepting the end of a relationship and knowing that through that hard phase, you will always have people to help you get through it, such as your friends and family.
