Jodi Sta. Maria is a Jill of all trades. She can give life to any kind of character from a sweet leading lady to a feisty kontrabida. At the moment, Jodi also nurtures her career out of showbiz by pursuing a BS Psychology course. She is more driven to attend to her schooling especially now that she is nearing the end of the race. Jodi is set to graduate next year.
Jodi never fails to surprise her fans with all the accomplishments she continues to achieve. Despite being loaded with tons of projects and other works, Jodi still managed to make it to the Dean’s list.
In an interview on Tonight with Boy Abunda, Jodi opens up about her fears. The actress reveals that she is Arachnophobic or scared of spiders. She is Claustrophobic or afraid of confined spaces as well. Lastly, Jodi can’t stand swimming or bathing in extremely cold water.
Jodi admits that she is anxious of a lot things but falling in love is definitely not part of the list. She does not mind loving someone again despite of all the heartaches and failed relationships she had in the past. “I have never lost faith in love”, Jodi says.
She is a loving and supportive mom to her son Thirdy who has noticeably grown into a fine, young man through her guidance as a single mom.
Indeed, the actress is an epitome of an empowered woman who never fails to sprinkle inspiration to her fans and followers through the words of wisdom she often shares on her social media accounts. If there is one thing she wants to tell those who look up to her, Jodi reminds everyone to remain grateful.
“Be grateful for your family because they are God’s extensions of his love and care. Be grateful for work because it is His provisions. Be grateful for every experience because they have shaped you into the person you are today”, Jodi states.
