Rufa Mae, or Peachy to her friends and family, shared that she bought the 1969 ancestral house that originally belonged to her late grandmother. So, she would always be reminded of her Lola and late Dad’s memories. Her 2-year-old daughter, Athena, requested for a Frozen-inspired bedroom, which she willingly obliged to. Even at her daughter’s young age, Rufa Mae makes sure to explain why she and husband, Trevor Magallanes are often out of the country for work.
Rufa Mae also reacted to a netizen’s observation that she is being copied by actress Roxanne Barcelo. Rufa Mae expressed that she doesn’t think Roxanne is trying to imitate her comic ways. Besides, they are good friends and she finds Roxanne an intelligent woman. The two actresses act as best friends in the film “Love is Love”. Talking about her character, Rufa Mae mentioned that she takes on the role of a woman who resorts to plastic surgery to attract a possible partner.
Giving her own definition of love, Rufa Mae said, “Love is contagious, sweet, and sour. Love is like a rosary that is full of mystery. Love is blind. “Love is Love,” showing now!”
