Actress Lotlot de Leon tied the knot with long-time partner Fadi El Souri in a Batangas wedding in 2018. However, eagle-eyed showbiz enthusiasts and fans did not help but notice the absence of the Superstar Nora Aunor, Lotlot’s adoptive mother, during the wedding day; drawing speculations about a silent feud between Lotlot and Nora.
In her guesting in Tonight with Boy Abunda, Matet de Leon, Lotlot’s sister, puts an end to the spectators’ malicious allegations. Matet admits that Lotlot was hoping their mother would make a sudden appearance until the last minute of the ceremonies; and that Nora’s nonattendance somehow affected the joy and ambience of the wedding. But according to Matet, Nora was just at work that day, hence, her failure to arrive on the wedding; and there is no dispute between her mom and sister.
It has always been known to showbiz that Matet and Lotlot are adopted kids of Nora Aunor and veteran actor Christopher de Leon; and this, according to Matet, gives them a lot of pressure sometimes. The world has so many expectations and people have always been on the look-out of their actions. The worse things is others would put the blame on their parents everytime they make a wrong move or mistakes.
More so, the Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit star urges the public to stop assuming that they can outdo the acting prowess of their parents; adding that Nora and Christopher are two of showbiz’ most renowned drama virtuosos and their legacy is difficult to match.
