When she passed on the title to 2019 Miss Universe winner, Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi, Catriona Gray was admittedly nervous and scared to hold the bedazzled crown valued at five million dollars. She whispered Zozibini congratulatory words, coupled with an anxious reminder to keep the crown safely fixed on her head. Our very own queen added that she’s a fan of Zozibini who she described as eloquent. She was also impressed of the sisterhood that was displayed in the pageantry.
As she stepped into the next chapter of her life, Catriona felt a bit scared but also grateful for being where she is today. Catriona was being persuaded by fans to conquer showbiz next. According to the beauty queen, she is open to doing movie projects if the role fits her but music would still be her top priority.
Catriona gamely took on a TWBA’s Acting Challenge to deliver one iconic line from the 2004 film “Milan,” which starred Piolo Pascual and Claudine Barretto.
On her music career, Catriona is still in the process of getting to know her own music style. When asked to deliver her current life song, Catriona went for KZ Tandingan’s “Raise your Flag”, the musical piece written out of the words she uttered in a quick Q and A during the Miss Universe 2018 Top 15 round.
