As the daughter of two of OPM’s most celebrated singers, it is hardly surprising that Jayda Avanzado is slowly becoming a household name in the music scene. But she knows that parts of following in her parents’ legacy are the offensive foul comments from spectators.
In her TWBA guesting, Jayda admits being a victim of cyberbullying with the bashers’ malicious words ranging from below-the-belt criticisms to death threats. Jayda knew that the haters have gone out of line and her first reaction was to consider her safety. The young performer had to consult the authorities regarding the incident.
The series of foul tweets is rooted from fans’ allegations that Jayda is copying the style and musicality of another female performer her age.
In her TWBA guesting, Jayda is asked whether she gets offended with comparisons to other artists. Jayda does not give much fuss about it as she knows rivalry is just a normal part of showbiz.
But whether the bashers like it or not, Jayda is set to prove herself worthy of becoming the next OPM royalty. In fact, she takes her singing career to the next level by collaborating with an international artist, Ren Mikko, who hails from Indonesia.
Ren’s music label got in touch with Star Music to specifically request for Jayda in a duet entitled “Crazy About”. The beautiful and equally talented daughter of Jessa and Dingdong says she is honored with the privilege of working with singers from other countries.
