There’s a new trend on the internet today and it’s called the Dolly Parton Challenge, a meme game started by Hollywood star Dolly Parton where she showed what she’s like on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Tinder.
Among the local celebrities who were dragged into the bandwagon were Jake Cuenca, guest star for the TWBA January 30 episode and of course, The King of Talk Boy Abunda. The Kapamilya actor thinks his photo compilation is pretty much accurate, although he has only one social media account. Meanwhile, the veteran host couldn’t contain his laughter seeing the different “versions” of himself. Jake quips that he’s now convinced to create his own Tinder account after seeing Tito Boy’s topless photo on the Tinder quadrant.
Jake invites everyone to catch the last two episodes of the horror series The Haunted. The Kapamilya hunk is grateful for the reunion project with Shaina Magdayao and Denise Laurel. He says behind the horrifying scenes is a happy set where everyone just gets along well and laughs with each other. Jake admits that doing his intimate scenes with Denise was quite challenging since they are close friends. But they both managed to pull it off through professionalism.
Jake clarifies that he and girlfriend, Kylie Versoza, are not living together, contrary to what people assumed when he wrote the intriguing caption “waiting for you to come home” on his Instagram post. They are simply neighbors.
The couple is not engaged, either. Jake still wants to give Kylie the freedom and more time to enjoy showbiz since she is just a newbie while he’s been in the industry for almost two decades. Jake also expresses gratitude to Kylie’s family for accepting him without reluctance. The Versoza family always makes him feel comfortable and he never felt the need to pretend or put his best foot forward.
To end the interview, Jake plays the “Kiss and Tell” game where he describes his on-screen kisses as “wet, wild, or sweet”. Among those he rated as sweet are Angelica Panganiban, Arci Munoz, and Erich Gonzales. He describes his kissing scene with Eugene Domingo as wet and with Joem Bascon as wild. “All of the above,” his answer when Kylie Versoza’s photo is flashed on the screen.
