BoybandPH member Joao Constancia went solo for a night to face the King of Talk in a TWBA hot seat interview. Joao was born and raised in Macau where he admittedly had a wild lifestyle, partying and drinking almost every night as a teenager; hence, getting baptized with the moniker “Party Prince ng Macau” when he joined the reality show Pinoy Boyband Superstar. The uncontrolled drinking habit suddenly led to a heath concern that forced him to tone down his alcohol intake.
Joao hasn’t received any indecent proposal thus far but he sometimes gets lewd messages from fans and strangers. There was an instance when he got a box of gift containing a condom and chocolate, an allusion to the TWBA Ultimate Fast Talk question, ‘sex or chocolates’.
The multi-talented artist vows that he is a hundred percent devoted when in a relationship. He had two girlfriends in the past and he always makes sure to keep his relationships lasting. Joao, a believer of second chances, is out of the dating scene at the moment to focus on his career first.
The “Unbreakable” star also reacted to bashers saying he isn’t good enough and he does not belong in the BoybandPH group. Joao said he takes criticisms as inspiration to improve in his craft. While acting was supposedly his top priority, Joao is undoubtedly grateful for becoming a part of the singing group, BoybandPH.
When asked to face Boy Abunda’s imaginary mirror, Joao told his own self, “Things happen for a reason. Just don’t lose focus on what you want to achieve in life”.
Taking on the Fast Talk Challenge, Joao rated himself 5 as a singer, 10 as an actor, and another perfect score of 10 as a lover. The actor mentioned his singing skills as his biggest insecurity. “Focus on yourself,” Joao said when asked about the best way to get over with a break up.
