Half of the Pinoy Big Brother Otso Bach 3 Big Four, Batit Espiritu and Yen Quirante, faced Boy Abunda in their first TWBA guesting and took on the Fast Talk Challenge.
“Pangarap laging ilaban,” was Batit’s biggest takeaway from his stint inside Bahay ni Kuya. Kathryn Bernardo is his celebrity crush but he believes his relationship with his girlfriend would last forever.
Still in the Fast Talk segment, Yen mentions adobo as her favorite dish. A person’s clinginess turns her off while housemate Shoichi Oka is the hottest man for her. Trying to imagine Big Brother’s face, Yen says he is likely a chinito.
Batit, dubbed as the “Boy Masigasig of Neuva Ecija” reveals he is an ‘NPA’ or a person with No Permanent Address. The nomad lifestyle started while he was just an infant when their family moved in to Davao after he was born in Calamba. Batit lived in Davao until the fifth grade and later on transferred to Nueva Ecija until he finished Senior High School. Then, Batit had to move back to Davao to pursue college. Batit’s siblings provided financial assistance all throughout his studies.
The “Palanggiteen Dreamer ng Camarines Sur”, Yen had her own story of struggles as well. Yen lost her father in 2015 and since then, the pretty hardworker had no choice but to embrace independence and maturity at a young age. She used to work as an all-around staff in a restaurant, doing tasks from cooking to dishwashing.
She also worked in a piggery and Yen would never be ashamed of that fact, saying it has become a big help in supporting her studies. She managed to survive all these sacrifices for the sake of her family whom she constantly talks about.
