Every season in Toni Gonzaga’s life is full of beauty and lessons she openly shares to everybody. She was, for instance, the image of an obedient daughter and a persevering dreamer and artist during her younger years. And since embarking on another fulfilling chapter called motherhood and married life, Toni sure has a lot of wisdom to inspire her followers.
In a past episode of TWBA, Toni faced Boy Abunda’s golden mirror and mused on the future and how life has become more meaningful when she had her only child Seve.
Looking at her reflection in the mirror, Toni envisioned life 19 years ahead, when Seve is already 20. Asked about her love advice for Seve, Toni stressed the importance of a man’s respect and gentleness towards females. “Kasi lalaki si Seve. ‘Seve, huwag kang magpapaiyak ng babae. Alagaan mo ‘yung babaeng magbibigay sa’yo ng puso niya. Huwag mo siyang paiiyakin.’,” she said.
Toni went on to give herself an important promise: “One day, lahat ng pinapangarap mo sa anak mo, sa family mo, matutupad mo ‘yun.”
Lastly, Tito Boy asked Toni to complete the phrase ‘last night.’ She answered, “Last night, tinitingnan ko si Seve tapos na-realize ko na life is worth living because I have him.”
