Acting virtuosos Aga Muhlach, Joel Torre, and John Arcilla were asked about their impressions on one another. John recalled watching the classic film “Oro Plata Mata” in 1982 where he saw Joel as a game changer in the Philippine movie industry. Three years later, he was impressed with Aga’s raw acting in the film “Miguelito, Ang Batang Rebelde” and took it as an inspiration to deliver impeccably as well. While John was expressing appreciation for Aga’s sterling performance in the said movie, Joel was noticeably nodding his head in agreement. John is proud to finally share a project with two of the most brilliant actors he looks up to.
Meanwhile, Joel admitted that he has long been impressed with John especially in Raymond Red’s alternative film “Anino”. On Aga, Joel said, “Seldom do you have the marriage of a commercial and critical success and that’s what Aga has. He has the box-office appeal and the artistic side of him which is a very good combination”.
Flattered and honored, Aga returned the compliments to his “Miracle in Cell No. 7” co-stars and added that he also looks up to them.
Boy Abunda dared the three veteran actors to enumerate the procedures in cooking Sinigang delivered in different scenarios. John acted as though he was a politician in a campaign rally; while Joel had to pretend wooing his wife. Lastly, Aga had to act holding his pee.
