Whether for the good or bad reasons, Ellen Adarna has been called all sorts of names. And she doesn’t care at all, evinced by the super candid way she responded to a hater who recently called her “may tililing.” Words don’t hurt Ellen, obviously, even the worst assumptions about her.
Throwback to 2016, on her guesting in TWBA, Ellen was asked the biggest misconception about her. She said people think she’s a bad person because of the way she acts and speaks, and all things she does. She also thought bashers hate her all the more because she doesn’t really care about what they say.
Veteran host Boy Abunda wondered how Ellen wanted to be described when people ask how she’s like in person. “What do you want me to say?” Tito Boy asked, to which Ellen replied, “Baliw.”
She’s admittedly crazy in a good way, which Tito Boy believes is a typical attitude of those who can manage to survive showbiz. He said, “I’m not being defensive about it but I don’t think you can really make it big in this business if you don’t have some amount of kabaliwan.”
Last year, Ellen started to open up about battling anxiety and depression, and how she healed through professional help. The actress recently became a hot topic anew when she and boyfriend Derek Ramsay confirmed their relationship and eventual engagement.
