Just last month, Kapamilya actor JM de Guzman faced Boy Abunda in a hot seat interview where he revealed juicy details about his sort-lived relationship with ex-loveteam Barbie Imperial. JM said he and Barbie were never a couple but he tried to pursue her and they had a mutual understanding. He denied the allegations of giving Barbie false hopes. JM also mentioned career and other priorities as to why their relationship abruptly came to an end. The two starred in the afternoon serye PHR Presents Araw Gabi
The next morning after JM’s interview, Barbie dashed off to her Twitter account and freed her sentiments in a post saying “Once a liar, always a liar”.
When it’s Barbie’s turn on the TWBA hot seat, she boldly reveals that she’s referring to JM in the aforementioned tweet. According to the beautiful actress, there were details in JM’s TWBA interview that she was not able to take. “Siguro kahit one percent naman minahal mo ako,‘di ba? Bakit kailangan magsinungaling?”Barbie relates as if talking to JM in flesh.
Giving clarity to the issue, Barbie claims she and JM have indeed tried their best to make their relationship work. But career and workload were never the reasons behind their split, contrary to JM’s statements. Barbie says there is a deeper reason as to why things did not work well. Yet, she would choose not go on details for the sake of sparing JM away from fans and netizens’ harsh criticisms. She was indeed pursued by JM but Barbie hints at the insincerity of his actions.
The beautiful actress takes on the Kiss, Marry, Kill Challenge. Barbie had much ease in the first round, with photos of Gerald Anderson, Xian Lim, and Paulo Avelino shown on the giant screen. She would ‘Marry’ her ultimate crush Paulo and ‘Kiss’ Xian Lim but while asking permission from Kim Chiu first.
The second batch of choices bears her online game co-players, Ronnie Alonte, Jerome Ponce, and Joshua Garcia.
But, things become more exciting when her ex-boyfriends’ pictures are displayed in the last round of the game. Barbie quips wanting to walk out from the set just to get away from the challenge. Barbie plays with her own rules and draws out laughter from the audience including Tito Boy himself. “’Kill’ ko po silang lahat!” Barbie says in jest referring to Ryle Santiago, Paul Salas, and JM de Guzman.
