In an episode of Tonight with Boy Abunda in 2018, Ryan Bang was told that he’s a favorite of Tony Reyes, his director in the horror-comedy film “DOTGA: Da One That Ghost Away.” He also learned that Kim Chiu, his co-star in the said movie, would talk about how he diligently studies the script.
Reacting to those revelations, Ryan shared that he’s learned proper motivation in crying scenes unlike before when he’d completely rely on imagination.
He continued, “Ngayon, medyo matured na ako. Hinuhugot ko ‘yung character ko. ‘Yung linya ko diyan, hinuhugot ko diyan.” Sometimes he would specifically request for crying scenes to showcase his other side.
He then demoed his technique in doing intense drama. Kailangan hugot pa,” he did as he said, and cried in an instant.
