Actress Cherry Pie Picache gamely takes on the Fast Talk Challenge with Boy Abunda. She picks spicy over sweet, KathNiel over JaDine, and apple pie than buko pie. When asked about a possible sequel for the hit series On the Wings of Love, Cherry pie says she would rather not do one.
With her only son’s plans of studying abroad for college next year, Cherry Pie is starting to feel the ‘empty nest syndrome’. Nevertheless, instead of sulking over Nio’s road to independence and maturity, Cherry Pie decides to use this time to look after herself and date again.
The actress has been separated for nine years and she believes this is the perfect time to open her heart again. Still in the Fast Talk segment, Cherry Pie admits she’s picky when it comes to men. She also reveals being courted by several male showbiz personalities before.
Cherry Pie is currently filming a digital series entitled “Call Me Tita”, streaming soon on iWant. The show also stars her closest friends Cherie Gil, Mylene Dizon, Agot Isidro, and Angelica Panganiban. The group brands themselves as “Kontrabida Package”.
Apart from this, she has another project called “Radical Love”, a documentary piece that talks about her journey to complete forgiveness and healing. In the said short film, Cherry Pies shares how she managed to seek forgiving justice for her mother’s death. Radical Love is airing on July 7, in ABS-CBN Sunday’s Best.
