Multimedia Princess Nadine Lustre’s birthday falls on the Halloween, the time when people would go partying in costumes. Therefore, dressing up for her birthday celebration has been Nadine’s yearly tradition. She would look good on whatever get-up she chooses, anyway. In fact, Nadine looks drop-dead gorgeous even with just a pink wig, fairy wings, round shades, and a toy rifle she randomly picks during a dress-up game with Boy Abunda on the TWBA October 31 episode.
As she celebrates her 26th birthday, Nadine looks back on her biggest achievement in 2019 which is reconnecting with herself by taking a short break. Nadine has learned to find solace and comfort in doing things alone. “I would drive around the city or eat alone. It’s like having a date with yourself,” says the actress who believes that going solo at times doesn’t equate to feeling sad.
This year, Nadine has also managed to overcome her fear of public speaking through the help of Tito Boy, her fellow judge in the upcoming talent show Your Moment. “You and Billy [Crawford] are there, tinutulugan n’yo ako na maging open and honest and to just say whatever I want to say,” Nadine tells Tito Boy.
On the second gap of the episode, Nadine airs her side on the controversy involving her father, Dong Lustre. Just this October, Daddy Dong was lambasted for his cryptic online posts which netizens believed are intended for Nadine’s showbiz ‘rivals’. Nadine apologizes on her Dad’s behalf and says they’ve talked about the issue and ironed things out.
Nadine also reacts to boyfriend James Reid’s statement about being uncertain on having a child at the moment. “I don’t know if I want to bring another life into the world, the way it is now,” James’ exact words in his last TWBA interview. “I agree with him. A lot of stuff is happening and I’m not yet ready kasi marami pa akong gustong gawin,” Nadine stated.
But, when time comes that they decide to become parents, Nadine believes that James would become a good father. Nadine learns a lot from James and she commends him for being passionate and supportive.
