Lovebirds Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil marked their 5th anniversary last October 24. Looking back on the memorable day when they officially became a couple, Enrique shares that he was on a show abroad when he surprisingly felt anxious thinking about his love team partner. So, he phoned her up and began babbling about the significance of the number 24 in his life which is coincidentally a date of important family occasions. Things turned hilarious and cheesy, according to Liza, when Enrique said that the number 24 actually means “together forever” and he started crying.
LizQuen drops interesting revelations on TWBA Fast Talk. Liza was wearing a red dress when they first met and, totally stunned, Enrique’s first words to her was “Ang cute mo naman!” Their first date happened in a movie house but since their relationship was still a secret then, the couple held hands under their seats. Liza describes their first kiss, which happened in Baguio while doing the series Forevermore, as worst because they got caught by her Tita.
A co-actor was the subject of their first LQ or lover’s quarrel. Meanwhile, Liza admits that she felt jealous over a female talent who shared a quite intimate scene with Enrique in the film “Everyday, I Love You”.
They list down Forevermore as their favorite LIzQuen teleserye and “She’s The One” as their most memorable movie together because that’s where they first met.
“Repeating what he said,” says Liza when asked about her boyfriend’s most annoying habit. And she considers his eyes as his secret weapon. She goes for the word “dull” to describe a life without Enrique. They both agree that Liza is the better cook between them while Enrique is the better dancer.
Liza dreams of having a traditional church wedding. As a love team, they consider their supporters as their biggest achievement, adding that there is so much fulfilment in making other people happy.
