Lara Quigaman believes that her days as a beauty queen have come to pass. She thinks the young generation might already be clueless that she once took home the Miss International crown in 2005. Lara feels thankful and overwhelmed with the positive comments she continually receives for her work as an actress. Lara says she was almost typecast to kind mother roles. And although, she enjoyed every role that was assigned to her, she has always wanted to do something interesting.
The beauty-queen-turned-actress takes on an acting challenge with Boy Abunda. Lara pretends scolding her husband Marco Alcaraz for giving their kids chocolates without her knowledge; and confronting a strange woman smothering her man a la Alice Dela Torre.
